Dear amazing African youth,

In preparation for the 17th Conference of Youth (COY17) and the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27) taking place in November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, the Africa Youth Mobilization For COP (AYM4COP), the African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC), and Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) Coordination Team are pleased to officially open the call for applications to participate as delegates in the Regional Conference of Youth – Africa 2022 (RCOY – Africa).

RCOY – Africa is a second for the region and should continue on its unprecedented success. This event is a precursor to COY17 and COP27 for youth around the world. RCOY will therefore unify the voice of youth from various countries in the African continent and will also serve as a training and capacity building space for African youth to participate in COY and COP.

RCOY – Africa 2022 will take place in South Africa from the 14 – 16 October 2022. Become a delegate now by completing and submitting this application form.

A number of fully-funded scholarship including flight, food and accommodation, and partially-funded scholarships including only food and accommodation are available. If you don’t get a scholarship you will have to arrange your own costs for traveling and accommodation. We will share with you more details about the accommodation and food price once selected.

En prélude, de la 17ème Conférence des Jeunes (COY17) et de la 27ème Conférence des Parties (COP27) en Novembre 2022 à Sharm El Sheikh, Egypte. L’équipe de coordination Africa Youth Mobilization For COP (AYM4COP), the Africa Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC) and Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) a le plaisir d’informer les jeunes Africains de l’ouverture à l’appel à candidature pour la participation en tant que délégués à la Conférence Régionale des Jeunes de l’Afrique 2022 (RCOY – Afrique)

RCOY – Afrique est une deuxième pour la région doit continuer sur son succès sans précédent. Cet évènement est annonciateur de la COY17 et COP27 pour les jeunes du monde entier. RCOY permettra donc d’unifier la voix des jeunes de divers pays de la région d’Afrique et servira aussi d’espace de formation et de renforcement de la capacité des jeunes africains à participer à la COY et à la COP.

Un certain nombre de bourses entièrement financées comprenant le vol, la nourriture et l’hébergement, et des bourses partiellement financées comprenant uniquement la nourriture et l’hébergement sont disponibles. Si vous n’obtenez pas de bourse, vous devrez prendre en charge vos frais de voyage et d’hébergement. Nous vous communiquerons plus de détails sur le prix du logement et de la nourriture une fois que vous aurez été sélectionné.
