Associate Programme Officer
The Associate Programme Officer (APO) works directly with teams in the UNFCCC Secretariat to provide effective management and coordination of the secretariat’s programme of work. This includes researching emerging topics related to climate change, providing technical input for reports, participating in negotiations and delivering workshops. Successful candidates will have a master’s degree in a related field, knowledge of climate science and policy, excellent writing skills, and strong organizational skills.
Digital Communications Officer
The successful candidate will be tasked with developing UNFCCC’s digital communication strategy and managing its official social media accounts. This role requires the ability to quickly write news articles and other content, create compelling visuals, think strategically about online trends, and stay up-to-date on climate change issues. The Digital Communications Officer must also possess strong intercultural communication skills and an understanding of the UNFCCC’s stakeholder landscape.
