Associate Professional – Energy Access and Renewable Energy Policy
As an Associate Professional, you will be responsible for providing technical and operational support for IRENA’s programmes related to energy access and renewable energy policy. You will work under the guidance of a senior professional to assist in various activities such as: drafting position papers, contributions to conferences, workshops, International Renewable Energy Conferences (IREC), seminars, etc. You must have a good understanding of relevant international norms and trends in energy access and renewable energy policy.

Regional Programme Officer – Middle East and North Africa, P-4
The Regional Programme Officer/Middle East and North Africa position is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, experienced international development professional to support the global renewable energy agenda. The primary responsibility of this post will be to provide high-level technical advice, policy analysis and project management for various IRENA programmes relating to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This person will also analyse national energy programmes, assist in drafting meeting documents and reports, catalyse project proposals from external sources, facilitate stakeholder dialogues and conduct research projects.

Associate Programme Officer – Coalition for Action and Knowledge, P-2
The Associate Programme Officer – Coalition for Action and Knowledge, P-2, is a key position within IRENA that will provide support to coalition development, advisory services and capacity-building activities in relation to the COALITION FOR ACTION AND KNOWLEDGE (CAK) program. The primary roles and responsibilities of this role include: assisting in operational matters related to the planning, implementation, coordination and review of CAK initiatives; providing technical guidance and advice on project development and execution; gathering relevant country data for the CAK program; coordinating stakeholder engagement efforts; and liaising between the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
