Benefits of Online Volunteering Assignments
Online volunteers can support organizations remotely for up to 20 hours per week for a maximum of 12 weeks per assignment. They are not under contract with UNV or the engaging organization, however they do not receive any financial compensation.
Online volunteering is a flexible way to contribute to the UN’s work from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a device, internet access, and the necessary skills and commitment.
The online volunteering process involves organizations registering their details, UNV approving them, organizations posting assignment descriptions, volunteers applying, organizations selecting volunteers, online collaboration, and providing feedback and certificates of appreciation at the end.
