Job description
Greenpeace International (GPI) is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to play a crucial role in its Technology Department – enhancing the performance, cohesion, and alignment of its entire global network and supporting its mission to achieve a green and peaceful future through strategic technology and data solutions.
The Technology Department delivers technology and data solutions that enable the Greenpeace network to win campaigns and to support an effective and efficient global organisation through the massive strategic uplift that technology can give Greenpeace:

In this role Business Systems Analyst you will:
- Analyse, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders and manage and track their status throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform business process analysis/mapping.
- Work with stakeholders and the product team to prioritise requirements.
- Translate conceptual business requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner (using assets such as process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts) that is comprehensible to developers/product team.
- Assist with the interpretation of requirements into feasible options, and communicating these back to stakeholders.
- Assist with functional and user acceptance testing, preparing and executing test scripts, and reporting issues for resolution.
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to discover issues and deliver better value.
- Actively seek opportunities to satisfy the business needs of the community and offer feedback on options under consideration.
- Develop and utilise standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.
- Act as documentation manager for the product documentation, including owning and maintaining any system where documents are stored.
- Build strong internal relationships with the systems team, local domain specialists, and management in national offices, as well as the wider community of product users.
- Assist the team in supporting the product practitioner community, including providing training, sharing best practices, and knowledge sharing.
- Design solutions to business problems, which may include new systems, processes, or products by evaluating different options and recommending the most suitable solution based on analysis and stakeholder input.
- Collect and analyze data to understand trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
Job requirements
- Proficient at eliciting and analysing functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Proficient in designing, documenting, and testing processes.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
- Experience in delivering training, including preparing and giving presentations.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working in an international and culturally diverse environment.
- A working knowledge of English, both verbal and written, and preferably one other language.
- Ability to work in a remote-first environment.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Knowledge in CRM platforms. Knowledge of Salesforce Nonprofit CRM platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, NPSP, Non-profit Cloud, etc., is an added advantage.
- Certification in Salesforce Business Analysis or related certification.
- Understanding of CRM data models.
