Background

Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Manager Role Description
ESG Manager Key Responsibilities
– Lead the integration of ESG factors into infrastructure investment decision-making processes.
– Provide Environmental & Social Risk Management support to ACP-managed assets.
– Develop and implement climate risk screening tools, conduct comprehensive climate risk assessments, and create strategies to enhance climate resilience within infrastructure projects.
– Integrate climate risk considerations into the investment process for infrastructure projects at all stages.
– Prepare and present ESG reports, including impact assessments, to internal and external stakeholders.
– Contribute to corporate knowledge by participating in and leading technical and policy-level discussions on E&S risks and other sustainability issues and trends with internal and external stakeholders.
Education
-A strong academic record, with a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science or Management, Engineering, Risk Management, Climate Sciences, or related disciplines from a leading University.
-Professional Qualifications/Certifications in Project Management, ESG or Climate Resilience are a plus.
Strong communication and writing skills (fluency in English and French is preferable) are highly desirable.
