Are you a young changemaker passionate about sustainable development and committed to making a difference in your community? Be the Change Champions 2025 is calling on motivated and visionary young people to apply for this year’s transformative cohort! This year, the Be the Change Champions program is bigger, better, and more impactful than ever before!
About the Role
As a Champion, you’ll undergo a free virtual capacity-building training, participate in weekly mentorship sessions, and join a powerful alumni network. As a Be the Change Champion, you will serve as a key change agent in your community, working with iLEAD AFRICA to address social, environmental, and economic challenges using innovative and inclusive approaches.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Mobilizing and engaging with other like-minds in community-driven activities.
- Supporting awareness campaigns on issues aligned with the SDGs.
- Collaborating with other changer makers to plan and execute impactful projects in your community (voluntary).
- Participating in weekly online training and mentorship sessions.
- Reporting on progress and sharing success stories.
Eligibility Criteria:
✔ Age: 18-35 years old.
✔ Location: Must reside in the country where you are applying.
✔ Experience: Prior experience in community engagement, advocacy, or project management is an advantage but not required.
✔ Commitment: Willingness to dedicate time to the role throughout the program.
✔ Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
