Overview
Air pollution is one of the greatest environmental health risks of our time, with significant impacts on public health, livelihoods, and climate resilience. In Ghana, young people are at the forefront of innovative solutions to reduce air pollution, improve waste management, and build climate-smart communities.
As part of activities to commemorate the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies, the Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) is hosting the Clean Air Conference 2025 under the theme:
“Clean Air, Collective Action: Mobilizing for Equitable and Climate-Resilient Cities.”
GAYO is has launched a Call for Youth Exhibitors from youth-led projects, startups, and initiatives to exhibit their projects, products, or innovations at this high-level conference. The exhibition aims to provide a platform for youth innovators to showcase their solutions to policymakers, investors, and stakeholders, expand their networks, and amplify their impact.
Eligibility
Youth-led projects, organizations, or startups (majority team members under 35 years) Initiatives with a focus on clean air, air pollution reduction, waste management, environmental health, or climate resilience
Ability to exhibit a product, model, poster, demonstration, or digital solution on the day of the conference in Accra.
