Bioeconomy Coalition of Africa (BioCA) is now inviting applications for its six specialized working groups! This is an amazing opportunity for Africa-based students and professionals to make a meaningful impact across the continent
Thank you for your interest in joining the 2nd Cohort of working groups of the Bioeconomy Coalition of Africa. The Bioeconomy Coalition of Africa Working Groups were put forth to harness the stakeholders’ collective expertise and drive transformative impact in key bioeconomy domains.
The Bioeconomy Coalition of Africa working groups are driving innovation in critical sectors of Africa’s bioeconomy including:
- Green Bioeconomy (Agriculture & Forestry)
- Red Bioeconomy (Healthcare)
- White Bioeconomy (Industry: Bioenergy & Biomaterials)

About the Bioeconomy Coalition of Africa
The Bioeconomy Coalition of Africa hosted by the Science Foundation for Livelihoods and Development (SCIFODE) – is a platform of stakeholders in Africa’s bioeconomy that includes scientists, policy makers, media, industry, development partners, investors and civil society.
Mission: To make Africa the world’s leading bioeconomy.
Goals: To grow investment in Africa’s bioeconomy
