About
Based in Nairobi, SEI Africa hosts a diverse team of multinational experts who combine scientific research with participatory approaches to co-develop and share knowledge, build partnerships and influence policy for resilient development. SEI Africa’s work focuses on climate adaptation, mitigation and finance, water and natural resource management, and urban sustainability, supported by cross-cutting research on gender and social equity. SEI Africa currently operates in 16 countries, managing around 20 projects with varying completion periods.
Role Overview
Stockholm Environment Institute is looking for two new Research Fellows to join its multinational team at SEI Africa – Stockholm Environment Institute and help drive innovative, policy-relevant research on climate and water across the region. These are exciting opportunities to contribute to SEI Africa’s growing portfolio and make a tangible impact at the science–policy interface.
Both positions are full-time, two-year contracts (with the possibility of extension) and will be based in Nairobi. You will be part of a diverse, collaborative environment that combines scientific research with partnerships and capacity-building to support resilient development.
