The Earthshot Prize (TEP) Asia Youth Leaders Programme 2025
The Earthshot Prize is looking for passionate and committed young individuals to participate in the TEP Youth Programme representing Asia. This unique fully funded opportunity is designed for eco-innovation champions who are eager to make a tangible impact on climate change and environmental issues. Participants will have the chance to develop leadership skills, expand their knowledge, craft their personal branding in the sustainability space and share their perspectives on global sustainability efforts. Below are the selection criteria for candidates.
As part of the post-programme deliverables, candidates selected for the programme are required to create a short film to showcase their current work in the sustainability space, and amplify their message using mindsets and skills developed during the programme.
The Earthshot Prize (TEP) Asia Youth Leaders Programme 2025 is organised by Common Purpose and The Earthshot Prize, in partnership with Temasek Foundation and TPC (Tsao Pao Chee).
Selection Criteria
Programme
- A demonstrable champion of eco-innovation, with a clear desire and dedication to take discernible action towards climate change and environmental issues.
- To have displayed a strong commitment for learning and leadership.
- Evidence of using your perspective or social platforms to craft and share stories of incredible work being done to fight climate change.
- Commit to attending all pre- and post-programme storytelling workshops in preparation for the short film deliverable. These workshops will be held online.
- Submission of the post-programme deliverable, in the form of a short film.
Administrative
- Youth between the age of 18-30 with nationalities based in ASEAN, China or India.
- Willingness to travel to Singapore and Rio, Brazil between 29 October and 6 November, and bearing the following costs:
- Personal travel insurance
- Individual spending unrelated to the programme
** Programme costs, including return flights to Singapore and Rio, visa fees, accommodation, meals and local transport are covered.
- Willingness to share a room with another candidate during their stay in Singapore (for non-Singaporeans) and Rio during the programme.
- To take Yellow Fever vaccination, with proof of vaccination, by 17 October 2025. The cost of the vaccination will be reimbursed after the programme.
