Clean Cities Project is seeking a female volunteer to support its communications and project activities as it expands climate action and sustainable waste management initiatives in Malawi and across the Global South.
Overview
Clean Cities Project is a youth-driven climate and environmental innovation organization working to accelerate climate action and sustainable waste management in Malawi and across the Global South.
This year, Clean Cities Project is intentionally investing more in media and digital engagement, as they
believe storytelling and social media are critical to advancing climate change awareness and action.
This is a voluntary and unpaid role (Internet/data support will be provided, with occasional bonuses subject to funding availability), offered on a 6-month contract, with a possible extension based on performance and organizational needs. While financial benefits are limited, the Communications & Project Support role provides meaningful experience, learning opportunities, and exposure within the climate and sustainability space.
Communications & Project Support Key Responsibilities:
• Social media management and content creation
• Content planning and scheduling
• Event coordination support
• Proposal and grant support
• Researching international opportunities
Who Should Apply:
Female graduates or final-year students based in Lilongwe with an interest in climate action and youth-led initiatives.
What to Expect:
Internet/data support will be provided, with occasional bonuses subject to funding availability.
