Are you an African youth ready to take bold action on climate issues and lead change beyond borders?
The African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC) is now accepting applications from young Africans aged 18–35 to join its Continental Leadership Team for the March 2026 – December 2027 term.
Overview
The African Youth Initiative on Climate Change (AYICC) is pleased to open a call for applications for its next cohort of continental leadership, serving from March 2026 to December 2027. This AYICC Continental Leadership team call invites committed African youth aged 18–35 to step into strategic leadership roles that will guide AYICC’s advocacy, programs, partnerships, communications, and grassroots engagement across the continent.
Successful applicants will commit to a two-year voluntary term, contributing time, expertise, and leadership to strengthen African youth participation in climate governance and action at national, regional, and global levels. This is a unique opportunity to shape AYICC’s future, represent African youth in key climate spaces, and drive inclusive, youth-led climate solutions across Africa.
As part of the AYICC Continental Leadership team, you will
➡️ Champion youth-led climate advocacy across Africa.
➡️ Contribute to continental and global climate policy spaces.
➡️ Support and strengthen grassroots and community climate action.
