Call for Applications: 2026 Changemakers for Youth Program for social entrepreneurs

Connecting changemakers across borders

Changemakers for Youth support, connect and amplify the work of social entrepreneurs based in Egypt, Germany*, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland or Tunisia who address pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges in their communities, while strengthening the agency and skills of young people. Participants receive access to a global community, customised capacity building and seed funding for cross-border collaborations.

What ChangemakerXchange Do

Over the next 3 years ChangemakerXchange will search, identify, and recruit 80 young changemakers and social entrepreneurs with existing ventures that create tangible impact, while empowering and mobilising young people. In 2026, ChangemakerXchange will select and onboard the first cohort of 20 participants, ideally with equal representation from all the eligible countries.

ChangemakerXchange help them thrive and scale their efforts by providing tailored and customised capacity building, immersive retreats, a community of peers, collaborative funding, and cross-regional connections and access to supporters, mentors and funders.

The first cohort of 20 participants will both connect online, as well as through a 5-day in-person summit in Morocco, focused on peer to peer learning, wellbeing and resilience for changemakers and collective impact collaborations. Beyond the summit, participants also get a chance to connected to a wider ecosystem of partners, experts, supporters and collaborators. Last, but not least, they become lifelong members of the global ChangemakerXchange community of over 1500 changemakers in 130+ countries.

This programme is particularly relevant for changemakers who resonate with these principles:

The MENA region and Europe face urgent social, economic, and environmental challenges, yet also hold immense potential: a rising generation of young people eager to lead change! Young people – from Cairo to Zurich and everywhere else – are stepping up to solve their regions’ biggest challenges, and empowering huge numbers of other youth while doing so.
