The EA Scholars Program 2026 is a virtual, cohort‑based capacity building initiative that equips students, early‑career professionals, and young researchers across Africa with practical skills in climate data analysis, visualization, basic modelling, and science communication.
What participants will achieve:
- Produce reproducible analyses and policy‑ready visualizations to identify climate risks and adaptation opportunities.
- Build and interpret simple climate models to inform local and national decision‑making.
- Communicate scientific findings effectively to policymakers, practitioners, and communities.
- Deliver an applied portfolio project with expert mentorship.
Who should apply
- Students, early‑career professionals, and researchers committed to climate resilience and evidence‑based policy.
- No prior climate‑modelling experience required; applicants should demonstrate motivation and basic quantitative literacy.
