RES4Africa Foundation Executive School for African Professionals Fully Funded to Milan, Italy: Apply Now!

RES4Africa Foundation, in partnership with Enel Foundation, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the European Investment Bank (EIB), and in collaboration with POLIMI Graduate School of Management and SDA Bocconi, is delighted to announce the 11th edition of the Executive School. This prestigious program, established in 2014, aims to equip high-achieving individuals with the essential technical, economic, and regulatory competencies needed to advance renewable energy solutions in Africa’s evolving electricity markets.

The RES4Africa Foundation Executive School will take place from the 25th of November to the 6th of December 2024 in Milan, Italy, and will be conducted entirely in English. It is tailored for institutional and high-level managers and professionals from various sectors, including public institutions, energy companies, universities, and research agencies across Africa. This year, the program also welcomes Ph.D. or Master’s level students and researchers from Italian universities, enhancing the diversity and expertise among participants.

Benefits

Participants in the RES4Africa Foundation Executive School will benefit from a comprehensive curriculum comprising 80 hours of lectures delivered by international experts and industry professionals. The program includes practical sessions, group activities, and site visits designed to provide hands-on experience and foster a holistic understanding of renewable energy integration in diverse energy contexts.

Participants will be awarded a scholarship which will include all lectures, workshops, flights, travels, accommodations, meals during the Executive School days.

Application Process

The application process is now open for African professionals who meet the following criteria: citizenship of an African country, a minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy field, proficiency in English, and eligibility to travel to Italy.

Prospective participants are required to fill out the registration form, submit a Curriculum Vitae, a Motivation Letter, a Reference Letter, a Passport copy, and, if applicable, a valid EU Visa. The deadline for applications is the 31st of August 2024, with notifications of acceptance sent by the 12th of September 2024.
