UNIDO Internship Program Overview
The UNIDO Internship Programme represents a valuable partnership between UNIDO and individuals recently graduated from academic or other partner institutions. UNIDO offers on-the-job training in its areas of expertise and gives its interns a valuable experience to enhance their educational qualifications and build up credentials for their future careers. You can apply for the UNIDO Internship Program if:
- You have completed your full-time university studies (Вachelor’s degree or equivalent) at a university or equivalent institution prior to commencing the assignment
- You are enrolled in a graduate programme (Master’s degree or equivalent, or higher) at the time of application
- You have recently graduated with a university degree (Вachelor’s or Master’s or their equivalent), within the last 12 months
UNIDO Internship Program Requirements
Age : You must be at least 20 years on the first day of the internship.
Languages : You should have an excellent command, both written and spoken, of English. Fluency or working knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.

What are we looking for in an intern?
We are looking for highly motivated interns who are keen to learn and enhance their qualifications. We seek talent who is committed to our mission and values. We also want someone who is an excellent team player and who can think outside the box and innovate.
Please note, due to the large volume of applications received, we shall only get in touch with you if your application has a strong alignment with the internship’s requirements or should your profile be considered desirable for future internships. Your application will be carefully reviewed and will stay in our database for a period of one year. If short-listed, you will be directly contacted by the Hiring Manager for further assessment.
UNIDO Internship programme duration: The normal duration of an internship is 3 to 6 months and can be extended to a maximum period of 12 months.
Employment: This programme is not connected with employment at UNIDO and there is no expectation of such. An intern wishing to apply for regular employment with UNIDO cannot do so during their internship nor within a two-month period immediately following the end of their internship. The same restriction applies for engagement as a consultant.
