- Western and Central Africa Region of the World Bank Recruitment Drive The Western and Central Africa Region of the World Bank is looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for international development to join our innovative and diverse staff. A career with the World Bank Group offers a unique opportunity to contribute to solving some of the world’s most pressing problems. We are opening over 30 new positions in our country offices in the Western and Central Africa Region.
- African and African Diaspora for Infrastructure is a fellowship program dedicated to African and African Diaspora candidates. The program aims to welcomes outstanding candidates who are citizens of Sub-Saharan African countries or those who hold the citizenship of other countries but trace their ancestry to Sub-Saharan Africa, such as African-Americans, Afro-Latin-Americans, Afro-Caribbean, and others
- World Bank Group Africa Fellowship Program: The Africa regions of the World Bank Group (WBG) announce the opening of the application period for the 2023 WBG Africa Fellowship Program for Ph.D. candidates and recent Ph.D. graduates who are Sub-Saharan Africa nationals. Women are encouraged to apply. Through the fellowship, we aim to build the capacity of the next generation of African change makers in development research, policymaking and promote the goals of reducing poverty in the region. Deadline for applications is August 25, 2022.
- The MNA Fellows Program will recruit nationals from MNA countries for immediate or future placement opportunities at the WBG headquarters in Washington, or in any of our country offices
- Japan recruitment program The World Bank Group (WBG) is launching a recruitment mission for Japanese nationals. A career with the World Bank Group offers a unique opportunity for exceptionally talented individuals with a passion for international development to contribute solving some of the world’s most pressing problems. - EAP The EAP Inclusive Fellowship Program is designed to introduce a diverse and inclusive group of qualified professionals to the World Bank by offering hands-on opportunities to contribute to development work in the EAP region.
- The Junior Professional Associate (JPA) program is a unique opportunity to gain entry-level professional experience and first-hand exposure to the challenges – and rewards – of international development.
- LCR Inclusive Internship Program The LCR Inclusive Internship Program is designed to introduce a diverse and inclusive group of qualified graduate students to the World Bank (WB) by offering hands-on opportunities to contribute to development work in the Latin American and Caribbean region. It is targeted to highly motivated and qualified individuals from the LAC region, with a special focus on Afro descendants, Indigenous People and other minorities.
- Young Professionals Program: For close to 60 years, the Young Professionals Program (YPP) has been the preeminent program for developing future leaders across the World Bank Group. Applications for the recently expanded program — now representing the IFC, World Bank and MIGA — will be open from June 15 — July 15 for all institutions and will reopen from August 15 — September 30 for roles at IFC.
- Bank Internship Program: The Bank Internship Program (BIP) is now accepting applications through October 31st for its Winter term (November – March). An internship at the World Bank is an opportunity to contribute to the World Bank’s work and mission, while gaining practical work experience. Internships are available in both development operations and other business units (such as Human Resources, Communications, Accounting, etc.), for a duration of 1-4 months during Winter or Summer terms. - Global Secondment Program (GSP): The GSP provides opportunities for partner organizations and the World Bank Group to stimulate knowledge sharing, strategic alliances, and capacity building.
- Legal Internship Program: The World Bank Legal Vice Presidency offers highly-motivated currently enrolled law students an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of the World Bank and that of the Legal Vice Presidency. The objective of the Legal Internship Program (LIP) is to provide students first-hand experiences of the day-to-day operations of the World Bank by closely collaborating with staff in the Legal Vice Presidency. LIP is offered thrice a year (spring, summer, and fall cycles) for a period of maximum three months at World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and in certain selected country offices. - TRE Summer Internship for College Students The World Bank Treasury Summer Internship Program is a junior professional training program designed to develop the skills necessary to have an exciting and rewarding career in the financial industry. The program aims to bring exceptional college students, who possess a demonstrated interest in a financial career, to support the World Bank’s development mandate. Interns are expected to be in their second-to-last year in the equivalent of a four-year college degree program. Applications are accepted open once per year, typically around October or November.
