King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is a highly ranked elite university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The university is ranked 160th in QS World Rankings and has recently jumped several positions in most of its QS Subject Rankings, and is within top 100 positions in most Engineering subjects.
The strength and focus of the institution are its Engineering and Sciences programs where degrees at all levels are offered to both locals and international students. Postdoctoral Fellows Program Overview
KFUPM is hiring multiple postdoctoral fellows to achieve Saudi Arabia’s missions related to increasing the share of renewable energy resources in electricity generation for greenhouse gas emission reduction and modernizing the electricity networks by deploying Industry 4.0 technologies for their better management.
Postdoctoral Fellows Qualification
Ph.D. degree from a reputable university (not before January 2021), excellent track record of high-impact publications (experimental or simulation), no D/F grades (BSc., MSc., and Ph.D.)
Postdoctoral Fellows Focused Research Areas
Machine learning applications for the power system (smart grid data analytics, predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis, renewable energy project management, microgrid energy management, optimization, etc.)
Duration
2 years.
