Clerk in external accounting Field of activity
The Finance department has comprehensive responsibility and the mandate for the normative function regarding GIZ’s financial management. In addition to controlling, accounting and other tasks such as the preparation of the annual financial statements, our employees support and provide services for those responsible for the project, the local offices, the departments and staff departments at the German locations as well as the board of directors. The external accounting and taxes group is assigned to the accounting and taxes department.
Clerk in external accounting Tasks
- Coordination and tracking of appointments as part of the annual financial statements
- Review of financial education accounts and clarification of discrepancies
- Determination and posting of provisions
- Communication with the auditor
- Coordination of internal report criticism
- Data delivery as part of statistical inquiries
Clerk in external accounting Profile
- Completed commercial training
- Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting or external accounting
- Comprehensive accounting knowledge and good knowledge of commercial and business management tools
- Knowledge of SAP CO/FI
- Very good organizational and communication skills
- A high level of willingness to provide service as well as the ability to work in a team and commitment
- Fluent German and fluent English skills, other language skills are an advantage
