Interpreter
The African Union is seeking a motivated individual to interpret from English, French, Arabic, and Portuguese at various international meetings. The ideal candidate must possess a high level of fluency in these languages, as well as excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills. In addition to the language requirements, interpreters must also be able to analyze the content they interpret and maintain confidentiality.
Benefits Officer
The Benefits Officer will provide guidance and support on leave management, health insurance, and other insurance-related policies. This position is a great opportunity to contribute to the mission of the African Union while gaining valuable experience in benefits management. Applicants must have at least three years of relevant experience managing benefits programs.
Assistant Accountant
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for all financial and accounting operations, including but not limited to journal entries, accounts payable/receivable processing, budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle management and preparing financial statements. He/she must have solid understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and have good analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is also required. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
