About the EU Election Observation Commission

The European Commission is initiating the selection process for Core Team roles for the Election Observation Mission (EOM), which will observe the General Elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These elections are provisionally set for 20 December 2023.

The EU Election Observation Commission invites interested applicants to submit their candidature for one (maximum two) of the following 12 positions:

• Election Analyst
• Political Analyst
• Legal Analyst
• Human Rights and Minorities Analyst
• Social Media Analyst
• Electoral Technology Analyst
• Media Analyst
• Press Officer
• Deputy Press Officer
• Observer Coordinator
• Deputy Observer Coordinator
• Data Analyst

Applicants for the position of Deputy Chief Observer, as per the separate Call for Candidatures, are allowed to apply in parallel for one (maximum two) Core Team positions.

Deadline for application: 17 September 2023 (23h59 Brussels time)
