Overview of Human Resources Officer (HR Officer) role
Oxfam International is unable to guarantee the obtaining of a work permit for the role. Candidates must have and be able to retain the legal right to work in the location of the post. We are not able to support the relocation of a candidate to take up the position in an Oxfam location.

The Human Resources Officer Role
Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for an Human Resources Officer (HR Officer) to provide administrative support and first level HR advice to key stakeholders under the guidance of the HR Operations & Benefits Lead. The Human Resources Officer role works with the People & Culture function to administer HR processes and procedures of the employee lifecycle and provides support to People & Culture function when implementing and monitoring HR policies and procedures.
The HR Officer will be allocated a key workstream/client group by agreement with the Lead People Team, HR Operations & Benefits Lead, and the Head of International HR Operations.

Requirements for Human Resources Officer role
Our office operates in a dynamic, fast paced and complex environment so you will need to have a proactive ‘can do’ attitude and be confident at juggling and prioritizing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
You will be a confident communicator at all levels, both written and spoken. You will take pride in your work paying close attention to detail and accuracy. You will have strong organizational skills and be able to take ownership of a query and see it through to a successful conclusion. You will have strong Excel skills for inputting data and producing information on key HR data. You will be resilient and have proven experience of delivering high quality end-to-end employee life-cycle administration. Fluency in English is essential; French or Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
