Communication specialist Field of Activity
The Real Estate 2 department is responsible for the properties at the Eschborn, Berlin location including the Berlin representative office and 4 other small locations. She is responsible for the digitization cluster for the properties and is also responsible for three groups that deal with, among other things, commercial issues, space and building management, customer services and the international central archive. In addition to day-to-day business, the area of responsibility for Communication specialist also includes strategic and innovative topics. A further focus of this activity is on the constant further development of the properties, their usage concepts and the technological development and services for the spatial basis of modern work.
Communication specialist tasks
- Responsibility for the development and conception of effective strategies for internal communication of the properties and control of internal communication (memos, newsletters, etc.)
- Contact person and consultant for the department management and managers of the Real Estate Department 2 in all communication topics and questions
- Responsibility for the development and implementation of Germany-wide communication campaigns and their implementation in digital and/or face-to-face formats, in collaboration with the departmental communication department of purchasing, real estate, contracts, the international language service as well as the communicative support of change processes at the Berlin and Eschborn locations
- Content responsibility for and coordination of the appearance of the Integrated Digital Applications (IDA) as well as the digital communities in the area of real estate
- Communicating a positive image of unity within the company and the community of property-specific issues
- Organization and moderation of GIZ-internal events
Communication specialist profile
- Completed university degree in the field of public relations, communication or media sciences, marketing or another subject area relevant to the position
- Several years of professional experience (min. four years) and relevant specialist expertise in the areas of communication and/or marketing as well as social media content creation
- Experience with video production and editing is an advantage
- Confident use of graphic design programs such as Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
- Very good communication, digital and management skills as well as a precise and accomplished writing style
- Openness to innovative ideas and the ability to convey complex issues in a creative, understandable and appealing way
- Proficient in German and English
