Tight Deadline – Fully Funded World Water Forum Youth Delegates Program

The World Water Forum Youth Delegates Program will be held in Bali, Indonesia, from May 18th to 25th, 2024, and offers a unique opportunity for young people to engage in critical discussions about water security and contribute to shaping a sustainable future.

As a World Water Forum Youth Delegate, you will have the chance to:

  • Participate in interactive workshops and discussions on water-related challenges and solutions.
  • Network with other young water leaders from around the world.
  • Develop your skills in advocacy, communication, and leadership.
  • Contribute to shaping the outcomes of the World Water Forum.

Youth could be involved in the 3 processes of the Forum which are thematic process, political process, and regional process by joining the 10th World Water Forum in Bali.

Timeline

  1. Open Submission: 21-27 March 2024
  2. Info Session: 25 March 2024
  3. Application Deadline: 31 March 2024

Fully Funded World Water Forum Youth Delegates program will include:

  • Return Airplane fare from delegated home country to Bali, Indonesia
  • Hotels accommodation during the forum (6 night)
  • Official transportation during the forum

Share experience and access to event:

  • Share their experiences & perspectives in sessions
  • Access to dedicated workshops, networking events, and high level dialogues with water leaders and stakeholders

Eligibility criteria for Bali Youth Representatives:

  • Between age of 18-35 years old;
  • A citizen or permanent resident of the country they represent with a valid passport and able to obtain visa from Indonesia as the host country;
  • Possessing strong communication skills, including proficiency in English as the the working language of the Bali Youth Session;
  • Committed to be available and actively participate in all Bali Youth Session agenda, both online (pre-event) and in-person [May 19th – 25th 2024];
  • Submitting complete required applications: CV and motivation letter, in one pdf;
  • Underrepresented communities, and historically marginalized groups, including gender, ethnicity, race, and people with disabilities are encouraged to join.

Benefit for Bali Youth Representatives: 

  • Sponsored to attend the 10th World Water Forum, for: 1) return airplane fare from home country to Bali, Indonesia; 2) hotels for 6 nights; 3) official transportation during the forum 
  • Actively contribute and engage in Bali Youth Session to share their experiences & perspectives 
  • Access to dedicated workshops, networking events, and high-level dialogues with water leaders and stakeholders
