About the Localization Development Accelerator (LDA) Program
Are you a young, vibrant, locally-led organization in East Africa? This call out is for you!
Last year, over 900 organizations applied from across East and West Africa, as well as Asia. Your passion showed Mama Hope just how many community-based leaders are building powerful change across the world. Mama Hope is deeply grateful for the interest and trust in its program.
This year, Mama Hope has refined its application form to better understand each organization’s need for systems-strengthening support.
Mama Hope is looking for Organizations:
- Based in East Africa (Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania)
- Operating with an annual budget under $100K
- Locally-led (founded and led by member(s) of the community)
- Belonging to communities that are aware & understand the work you do
- Working in any area of focus (Health, Education, Climate, Environmental, Women &
Girls, Disability Inclusion
- With leaders & teams who are eager to build long-term internal systems
- With leaders & teams who can dedicate 2-4 hours a week for 9 months
