Your career prospects as Students for the Bachelor of Arts – Business Administration lie in financial controlling, contracts, purchasing or commercial project management. After successfully completing your studies, you can work for GIZ abroad or at our locations in Bonn, Eschborn or Berlin.

Students for the Bachelor of Arts – Business Administration Tasks

The combination of economics studies at Trier University  of Applied Sciences and in-company training at GIZ will lead you to the internationally recognized university degree “Bachelor of Arts” (BA).

You complete the course in 6 semesters. In approximately three-month rotations, you will combine university studies and practical experience in the company. You learn and work in financial management, human resources and social affairs, purchasing, contract management and the project management departments. During a 3-month assignment in one of our offices, you will get to know our project work on site. When choosing the location, we take into account the requirements of our corporate security department and our medical service.

Students for the Bachelor of Arts – Business Administration Profile

  • General university entrance qualification  or  technical high school diploma with a focus on economics
  • Interested in a  practice-related business degree course
  • Very good  understanding of numbers / analytical thinking
  • Good performance in  mathematics
  • Curiosity about an international working environment
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Good verbal and written expression
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English, basic knowledge of another language desirable
  • Perseverance as well as  performance and  result orientation
