You can apply for the UNIDO Internship Program if:
- You have completed your full-time university studies (Вachelor’s degree or equivalent) at a university or equivalent institution prior to commencing the assignment
- You are enrolled in a graduate programme (Master’s degree or equivalent, or higher) at the time of application
- You have recently graduated with a university degree (Вachelor’s or Master’s or their equivalent), within the last 12 months
UNIDO Internship Programme Requirements
Age : You must be at least 20 years on the first day of the internship.
Languages : You should have an excellent command, both written and spoken, of English. Fluency or working knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.

You can apply for an internship with UNIDO at any time provided you meet the eligibility requirements listed above.

What UNIDO is looking for in an intern?
UNIDO is looking for highly motivated interns who are keen to learn and enhance their qualifications for the UNIDO internship programme. UNIDO seeks talent who is committed to its mission and values. UNIDO also want someone who is an excellent team player and who can think outside the box and innovative.
Please note, due to the large volume of applications received, UNIDO shall only get in touch with you if your application has a strong alignment with the internship programme’s requirements or should your profile be considered desirable for future internships. Your application will be carefully reviewed and will stay in the UNIDO database for a period of one year. If short-listed, you will be directly contacted by the Hiring Manager for further assessment.
UNIDO Internship programme duration: The normal duration of an internship with UNIDO is 3 to 6 months and can be extended to a maximum period of 12 months.
Employment: The UNIDO internship programme is not connected with employment at UNIDO and there is no expectation of such. An intern wishing to apply for regular employment with UNIDO cannot do so during their internship nor within a two-month period immediately following the end of their internship. The same restriction applies for engagement as a consultant.
