MYCP Youth Committee on Migration and Displacement Data . The Migration Children & Youth Platform (MYCP) is launching applications for young individuals to join our 2024 MYCP Youth Committee on Migration and Displacement Data! And we want YOU to be part of our global, diverse & dynamic team making waves across the UN-system and beyond for migrants and their rights around the world. 

Responsibilities of the Committee:

1. Child/youth consultations on migration and displacement data

2. Capacity building activities/webinars

3. Coordination of youth participation in IDAC Events

4. Mapping of youth initiatives connected to migration and displacement data

5. Youth advocacy for migration and displacement data in relevant processes

Applicants for MYCP Youth Committee on Migration and Displacement Data must be aged between 18 and 30 years of age.

Please note that the nature of this position in the Committee allows for flexibility in working hours, but some availability during evenings and weekends may be required to accommodate events and meetings happening in different time zones. The expected workload will be 15-20h per week on average, with the term of the position starting in January 2024 and ending in June 2024.
