Overview
This is a chance for Public health practitioners from African Union Member States to gain cutting-edge expertise in bioinformatics analysis, pathogen surveillance, and data-driven decision-making.
The Africa CDC Pathogen Genomics Initiative (Africa PGI), under the Centre for Laboratory Diagnostics and Systems, is pleased to announce 100 short-term fellowships for national public health laboratories and affiliated institutions in African Union Member States. This Short-term Bioinformatics fellowship program is part of Africa CDC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and expand the bioinformatics workforce across the continent. The fellowship program aims to enhance the bioinformatics capacity of public health practitioners in Africa through intensive short courses, enabling them to effectively analyze and interpret genomic data for public health decision-making
